On March 22, the promotion meeting of the 2019 district-level school-enterprise cooperation base and the signing ceremony of the new school-enterprise cooperation base were held in Shanghai City Science and Technology School. Among others, Zhang Xiaoyun, engineering manager of Yungtay, and Zhang Julang, principal of Shanghai City Science And Technology School, attended the signing ceremony.
As one of the school-enterprise cooperation bases of vocational education in Songjiang District, Yungtay and Shanghai City Science and Technology School have been partners for years. In 2014, the two sides signed a school-enterprise cooperation agreement, under which Yungtay undertook the construction of the elevator installation and maintenance training room and training area of smart elevator at the Shanghai Smart Engineering Technology Open Training Center of Shanghai City Science and Technology School, as well as the follow-up elevator training and teaching. In 2016, Yungtay sent professional trainers to Shanghai City Science and Technology School to teach the course 'Elevator Installation and Maintenance'.
In 2019, with the growth of the elevator industry and the development requirements of electric operation and control issued by the State Education Commission, the base focused on creating 'elevator installation maintenance' practice courses and cultivating 'elevator installation operations' teaching staff in order to help the professional development of electric operation and control in Shanghai City Science and Technology School.This cooperation will be a win-win situation for Yungtay and Shanghai City Science and Technology School, providing strong support for the talent cultivation of the school as well as the sustainable development of the enterprise.
The school-enterprise cooperation base of Yungtay connects the construction of G60 Science and Innovation Corridor, responds to the innovative development of vocational education in Songjiang District, cultivates more and better-skilled talents, and promotes the comprehensive reform of education and the modernization of vocational education.
